I hope at least that the following will endure: my trust in the people and my faith in men and women and in the creation of a world in which it will be easier to love.

Within earshot.

I’m a researcher, storyteller, and super-curious human. I believe that psychology can be a generative force for environmental sustainability and social justice.

I love bringing together teams and developing workshop environments, where we roll up our sleeves and create something together. During my past experience in communications and marketing, I built and led creative teams at Whole Foods Market, organic innovator Amy’s Kitchen and a leading conservation nonprofit in the PNW. As marketing lead at Patagonia’s start-up regenerative food division, I dove deep into video production and image-driven storytelling. As a studio art assistant, I have been joyfully immersed in the flow at the community studios Creativity Explored and Drawbridge.

I have a resarcher’s inquisitive mind and am at home with participatory designs and qualitative methods, especially interviews and narrative inquiry. My PhD is in depth psychology with a specialization in community, liberation, and eco-psychologies. But I’ve worked in fast-paced, innovative product companies, so I am not (just) an academic—I want to make sure leading edge thinking reaches a wide audience! I marry my inquisitive mind to my experience with creative production, like events, podcasts, and print design, to develop arts-based engagements.

For my doctoral research I circled around the Yellowstone to Yukon corridor interviewing biologists, artists and activists about their work and connection to wolves. Usually we were somewhere outside. Often we were within earshot of wolves. Always sparks of unexpected insight emerged from our conversations. A beautiul catalog emerged from our work. Now, that’s my idea of a good time.
