Short films are at their best when they take you into another world and give you a disruption of delight, like Out of the Blue, a 45-minute story from Montar-Rosset Studio about street artists, alpinists, and acrobats who go into the Oberland summits of Switzerland for some gravity-defying playfulness and community. From the first minutes, I realized this film would break the mold of mountain culture films and I was not disappointed. If you are looking for a nourishing tonic of spirited play and human community at high altitude, enjoy.
