Mission: Wolf
Participatory Fieldwork

This fieldwork-based project took place at Mission: Wolf nonprofit sanctuary in Colorado, where I stayed and worked alongside volunteers. I asked "how can we know another species"?” and “how can we be an advocate for another species?” Staff at the sanctuary shared their phenomenologically-understood sense of wolves through interviews and ongoing dialogue during workdays.

My roles: researcher

Collaborators: Hailey Adams (staff), Pietro Castelli (staff), Liz Petrov (volunteer), Michaela Petrini (volunteer), Sophie Prideaux (volunteer), Rosebud Ireland (volunteer), Kent Weber (executive director)

Creative: video; paintings
